Across America is a website that documents my first road trip across the United States from Rochester, NY to San Francisco, CA. I wanted to focus on being present and enjoying the ride while also capturing significant moments. Instead of using a digital camera or iPhone, I took photos using three disposable film cameras, and wrote my personal thoughts on the backs of the developed photos.
I Heart ROC is a website I created celebrating my hometown of Rochester, NY. Growing up, I noticed the best things the city has to offer are often clouded by gloomy weather and a general lack of knowledge. I Heart ROC showcases what's good in the hood and highlights different perspectives from real people.
This was a personal project of mine that I designed and coded, in addition to gathering and editing the interviews/stories. I also designed the overall branding of the site and photographed the interview subjects.
Unite.Do.Live is a social networking site that emphasizes getting fit and healthy with your friends.
As a freelance designer, I worked with a team of developers and project managers to design several initial versions of the user interface. I also created mock-ups of online promotions and applied branding to several web pages.
Tiny Moving Things is my animation and doodle blog. I draw small doodles using pen and ink and make them come to life using Adobe After Effects. The blog also showcases personal graphic design projects, original illustrations, and animations that I create digitally.
Aesop's Fables is an interactive website that highlights several of Aesop's most popular stories and lessons. It uses typography and color to encourage interactivity and interest in children, and emphasize web legibility.
I designed and coded the website, in addition to creating the graphics and overall branding.
